This is the interior of the Grand Musjid in Cordoba. Alhumdulillah an amazing place. Maybe in time Azaan will be called for prayer at the Musjid again insha allah.Aslam
Alhumdulillah we have just returned from a visit to Spain. As part of our itinerary, we visited the cities of Cordoba, Granada and Seville in the Andalucia region of Spain. This area of Spain was ruled by Muslims from the 700s to 1400s and is full of Islamic history. It is fascinating to visit these areas where the Muslims have left indelible marks attesting to their prosperity and power.
(1) For, believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord. (2) Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance: (3) Such in truth are the Believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance.
Surat Al-Anfal
Allahu Akbar ...
A Picture that is worth more than a thousand words....
Prayer, a great act of worship that is still obligatory...
Even when trapped in the prisons of the oppressors...
What excuse do we have for not reading ours.
Aslam

Salaams,
HanĂ¡'s brothers are Muhammad Ismaeel and Muhammad Yassir. May Allah Ta'ala make them the coolness of their parents eyes insha allah.
This is the Musjid of the Dome of the Rock. It is a separate musjid located on Temple Mount within the borders of Musjidul Aqsa. This Musjid is often shown when the media refer to Musjidul Aqsa but we should know better. It is built over the rock from which our Nabi (SAW) ascended to the heavens on his Mehraj. Although it is a significant place in our history, Musjidul Aqsa is the Third Haram of Islam.
Asalaamu alaikum,
